More than 40 HHRCOs have been successfully commissioned by MEPC in China and further 8 large capacity HHRCOs have been completed abroad, including TATA’s 1.6 mtpa coke oven in India. Many new technologies have been developed and are being used in such oven now. MEPC is the first and the most professional engineering and contracting company that delivered HHRCO projects out of China.

As a new generation of coke oven developed from HHRCO by MEPC, more than 10 VHRCOs have been built in China. As the technology inventor and patent owner, MEPC accumulated rich experience and know-how during industrial construction. Besides the advantages of HHRCO, following features are obvious:

 

● Less land occupation, 1/2 less as compared to horizontal type

● Lower capital cost, 1/3 lower as compared to horizontal type

● Lower burning loss, 3% saved as compared to horizontal  type

 

 

In the field of By-Product Recovery Coke Oven, MEPC has supplied over 100  high carbonization chamber coke ovens from 2.8m, 3.2m, 4.3m to 5.5m to customers with stamp charging  and 6.0m coke oven is being designed.

 

MEPC can supply 6.0m, 6.98m or 7.63m top charging by-product recovery coke oven.

 

Also MEPC can supply Semi-coke oven to produce soft coke with high VM and low caking coal, which is used for ferroalloy production.

MEPC can also provide coal gasification technology to produce high caloric coal gas for industrial and civil facilities.
