Narrow strip can be raw material for cold rolling, welded pipe, cold forming section steel and welded section steel, raw material for making various structures and containers, raw  material for bicycle and agricultural machinery industry, or as guardrails of the express ways and auto carriage plate or used in infrastructure and mechanical manufacturing industry.

Low-alloy structural steel strip can be used as material of cutting tools, bearing, elastic elements and automobile steel etc.

Bloom or slab thickness at 120-160mm, width at 100-500mm

Steel grade: Carbon steel, carbon constructional quality steel, low-alloy steel, stainless steel, spring steel etc.

Final product: Strip thickness at 1.2-8mm, width less than 500mm

 

● Pusher type reheating furnace to reduce investment.

● Semi-continuous rolling process. One stand of horizontal 2-Hi reversing mill, one stand of edger or two stands of 3-Hi mills for rough rolling, Finishing train consisting of two stands of edger and 8-9 stands of horizontal mills, of which 5-6 stands are 4-Hi stands.

● Edger with hydraulic AWC in roughing area and finishing rolling stands with hydraulic AGC.

● Water jet descaler to remove scales, located after furnace and before finishing rolling mill.

● Heat retention hood between rough rolling and finishing rolling stands to avoid temperature difference between head and tail of the middle part of the rolling stock after roughing rolling.

● Vertical looper to realize non-tension rolling at finishing stands.

● Hydraulic quick roll-changing device.

● Vertical coiler to reduce investment.
