TYPICAL LIMEKILN
MEPC provides three types of limekiln technology including EEAS vertical kiln, double-girder vertical kiln, and annular double-chamber vertical kiln. The kilns are also for dolomite lime production.
1. EEAS FULL AUTOMATICITY VERTICAL KILN
1) Feature: Outstanding energy saving, environmental friendly, fully automatic control, low cost, small land occupation, short construction period.
2) Technical Parameters:
- Output: 120 to 320t/d;
- Heat consumption: 960kcal/kg quicklime;
- Activity: ≥300ml (4N HCL 5 minutes titration);
- Unburnt & dead-burnt rate: <5 to 7%;
- Limestone consumption: 1.8t/t quicklime;
- Fume emission: <50mg/Nm3;
- Fuel variety: solid fuel such as coal, coke, coal powder
2. DOUBLE-GIRDER VERTICAL KILN
1) Features: Double-girder type, two layers of burner, high activity quicklime, low maintenance cost,large output range, low heat consumption, high automated level, wide fuel variety, etc.
2) Main techno-economic index:
- Output: 100 to 600t/d (300t/d or above is considered as better production.);
- Heat consumption: 800 to 900 kcal/kg; quicklime;
- Activity: 350ml (4N HCL 5 minutes titration);
- Unburnt & dead-burnt rate: <5 to 8%;
- Limestone consumption: 1.8t/t quicklime;
- Fume emission: <50mg/Nm3;
- Fuel variety: various fuel & basis on limestone with CaO content ≥53% admixture like natural gas, low heat value gas, carbide gas, and fuel oil, etc.
3. ANNULAR DOUBLE VERTICAL KILN
1) Features: double-chamber, low heat consumption, less refractory variety, quick lime quality compare to or exceed to MEARZ’s circular double hearth vertical kiln.
2) Main techno-economic index:
- Output: 300 to 600t/d (300t/d or above is considered as better production.);
- Heat consumption: >850kcal/kg quicklime;
- Activity: ≥360ml (4N HCL 5 minutes titration basis on lime stone with CaO content ≥53%);
- Unburnt & dead-burnt rate: ≤5%;
- Limestone consumption: 1.8t/t quicklime;
- Fume emission: <50mg/Nm3;
- Fuel variety: various gas fuel, coal powder, etc.
